Our Mission
The Coptic diaspora in Bolivia is an active community. The Church holds a generous amount of events that are designed to engage and support the community's indigent children. Through your prayers and donations, the Coptic Children of Bolivia is able directly to finance the education of these children who are our brothers and sisters in Christ. In essence, the Coptic Children of Bolivia is a non-profit organization with the primary purpose of directly aiding the needy Coptic children of Bolivia.
Man is not merely a citizen of the land; he is born to be a citizen of heaven. With truth, we can say that the purpose of education is to prepare one for life, proximately this worldly life, and ultimately eternal heavenly life. We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of a prosperous and religious member of society. Therefore, we are not talking only about intellectual and academic inquiry. Education is neither solely intellectual formation, nor is it merely instruction. Rather, it is the formation of the whole individual. We hope to develop and expose the hidden gifts and talents that God has given these children. With your aid, we pray that God may bless both our services and the productive individuals that come to fruition from them.

About Us
The concept for the Coptic Children of Bolivia was inspired in July of 2013. While visiting the village of Paquio, missionaries from the Coptic Medical Association of North America (CMANA) took notice of the abject living conditions of many of the local Coptic children there. As a welcoming gift, some of the children brought hand-picked bananas to the missionaries. The missionaries were illuminated by the heartwarming nature of these children. One missionary began to ask about the education system in Bolivia. As the conversation progressed and interest in the children grew quickly, some missionaries felt that they were called to help this Coptic diaspora in need. Through the blessings of His Grace Bishop Youssef of Bolivia and the knowledge of Father Anthony Ramzy, we are pleased to announce the launch of our not-for-profit organization.
Letter from His Grace Bishop Youssef of Bolivia
We are very blessed to have the support of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese in Bolivia, as well as the support of His Grace Bishop Youssef himself. The following is a letter of approval from His Grace Bishop Youssef:
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is intended to support "The Coptic Children of Bolivia" a project initiated by ... one of our regular missionaries, and endorsed by the Coptic Medical Association of North America (CMANA).
This project aims to assist the kids and youth in need of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Bolivia in reference to food, clothing and education by enabling the donors to "sponsor" these children.
We would like to thank Luke Soliman, CMANA, as well as all the future sponsors in regards to their efforts and contribution to change the life of our kids.
God bless,
